Noella Noel is an abstract painter living and working in her studio/gallery on the beautiful Bay of Quinte.in Prince Edward County. She works in Oil and Acrylic on canvas, paper and board.
"When I paint I am interested in colour, composition,and expressive mark-making. My work involves the layering of paint, collage, words, and moments in time. Paint is repeatedly applied, scraped away and reapplied until images arise from an ongoing interaction with the work in progress."
She attended a full time program at the Dundas Valley School of Art where she participated in several shows and exhibits including the Dofasco Gallery and King Street Gallery in Hamilton Ontario.
Her work is in private collections in Hamilton, Dundas, Waterloo, Burlington, Belleville, Toronto and Vancouver. In addition to Bayhaus Gallery she is represented by Denison Gallery in Toronto, Sidestreet Gallery in Wellington Ontario and Whitespace Gallerie in Naples Florida.
